Marketing a Business
Marketing a business involves much more than just signing up for the latest and greatest widget business. If one is pursuing any type of business on the Internet, it is most imperative that a clear idea of the business, as it applies to products and/or services is vital if that business is to grow and prosper.
As an example, I will use the term franchise, as it applies to our new marketing campaign using the Franchise 2.0 business model. We have conducted an indepth analysis of the keyword term franchise on Google, and also on Alexa.com. We have uncovered many aspects of the conventional mode of franchising, and obviously, many of which I had no clue existed.
By following rigorous testing and research, we find that traditional franchise businesses are beginning to flatten out a bit. This could be due to the fact that a high ticket franchising business model is costly to pursue, and more often than not, that business will require rigorous hours in intensive work, to see that the plan grows effectively.
It is a sad but true fact on the Internet that most have no clue as to what real world marketing is all about. Should one become proficient at all aspects of marketing research and analysis, obviously, desired results will begin to happen. Without this necessary element, then one is simply going about the process of trying to fake it until you make it, to make the business plan work into profit.

For most people, trying to market a business on the Internet is much like pulling teeth. The do the same old email blasts, put out the same old content, and just sit and hope that someone, somewhere, will find their little MLM deal and signup. There is a way to change all that you know?
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!
The franchise business model, like any other mode of creating money, is an involved legal process whereby the entrepreneur enters into an agreement with an already branded corporation. They pick through the maze of what you can do, or cannot do, in preparation for building that franchise, like Subway, into a paying proposition. Often times, this marketing research, analyzing, critiquing may tend to get off track of the original intent and purpose. The person buying that Subway franchise just wants to make great sandwiches! It could well be that after going through the arduous process of making sure that all the T's are crossed, and all the I's are dotted, they get to the point where making a great tasting sandwich is the last possible thing that they want to do!
Case in point, in any Internet marketing agency, you have those that will over plan, over analyze, over think and try to do everything in the world that would make a positive move towards building a business, and suffer unceasingly about the small stuff, that nothing actually gets done to build that business!
In marketing any business, it is apparent that leads should be generated. Leads are needed in any industry, even Subway, as they need hungry visitors to their stores. Having a lead is by no means the last step of the process. If that lead is not contacted, then certainly no sale will ever be made. If that great Subway sandwich from a local franchise is not consumed, and enjoyed by the customer, then certainly that business may just as well hang up their shingle, and go out and beg for food.
In today's economy, it is an all too often found trait, that people are simply hoping, waiting and praying for a miracle that will lift them from their miseries. Fact is, if you do not take positive action towards making that happen, chances are very good that once again, nothing will get done.
Owning a franchise can be a great way to earn a living; however, sweating the small intricate details, and not providing the best possible service to customers, then the empty building syndrome may be just over the horizon. In the franchising business, as well as the MLM marketing business, some will make it, and some will simply try to fake it until they make it. Its called people. Its called life. You make that life what you choose and think about and what you choose to accomplish. Without that spark of ingenuity, drive, integrity and perseverance, you will fail in your endeavors.
You might ask yourself this question today: What Is the Small Stuff? Answer: Its All Small Stuff!
Making one positive move today, such as building a great Subway sandwich, or calling a lead about a franchise alternative business model, could be the one step needed to move forward in the evolutionary process of building a great business for future rewards.

The world as I see it is based upon one's inherent ability to market either themselves, or their business interest correctly. The prime reason that most people fail in any business could be found in one term, location. In offline businesses, the location of a business interest is paramount. The old adage of no traffic to the store would equal no sales should be quite apparent. The same goes with an online business. Your location on the Internet, with high traffic, or niche marketing keywords, should be the primary goal of the business owner. It is a sad but true fact that almost no one involved in the MLM or network marketing business has any real clue on how to properly educate themselves on the process, and move steadily forward, on a day by day basis, until the location is achieved and held consistently.
The pseudo gurus out there will tell you that the power is in the list. So, in essence, building a huge email list should provide everything that any marketer needs to make sales, right? Well, in a perfect world, this might very well be the case, but in the real world, almost no email delivers anyway. I know personally that I have a very difficult time in getting an email, any email out to anyone. There must be some liberal minded, pencil toting, tape around the glasses moron, that is telling everyone which email that they will receive, and which email they will not receive. In other words, email marketing is pretty much a dead deal in marketing a business on the Internet. This is not to say that being effective with email lists can work, but for most MLM pitch men and women, that is nothing short of wasting valuable time in pursuing. In 2012, that is just not happening in the world of real marketing.
This even applies to real world business models like the franchise. The research and testing for that category over the last few weeks has led me to believe that franchising is advertised much like the proverbial carnival show barker out in the carnival midway. "Just signup for this franchise today, and get rich quick with no effort!" Needless to say, there is just no such animal. The franchise, any franchise will take time, energy, effort and immense resources and a will of iron to make it pay on a profitable scale for the long term. It goes without saying that most who enter the hallowed halls of buying a franchise business model will soon find themselves wrapped in a maze of hard work, no profit, confusion and bewilderment. They fell for the latest and greatest widget franchise, that was advertised by hacking pitch men and ad agencies, that have no clue what real marketing and research really is all about..
All types of businesses pursued should come with a provision that reads, "you must come fully prepared to research your market before entering! Without this type of knowledge and insight, any business will be doomed to fail in today's economy. I had the rare opportunity to sit in on one of the best webinars I have attended by Gudrun Smith, well known entrepreneur and personal development mentor, concerning How To Create A Business Plan. She did an extremely good job at telling the truth about creating a business plan, and following it to the letter until goals and profitability are well in tow. It was also surprising at the lack of turn out to the webinar that I saw. This leads me to know for a fact that cultural apathy is indeed rampant in the good old USA today. After all, attending a webinar is about the simplest and best way to gain insight and information on the real ways to market any business in todays fast paced world. The real killer in this society is apathy, and believe you me, its a far bigger problem than one might presuppose. I see it everywhere that I go. No one really wants to do anything, and is depending on the US to pull their wings out of the fire. For me, this is not the case.
So what is the answer to the riddle of surviving in today's economic doldrums? Education, knowledge, insight, perspectives and good old fashioned hard work will see anyone through the bad times. Yes, I know its an old fashioned thinking style, but the same values that made this country great are still there, they have simply been thwarted by liberal thinking. Its time for the conservatives to stand together and say that we will survive, no matter what is thrown in our path!

The Franchise in Bad Economic Times
In case one has not noticed it, the US economy is suffering. That might be a little hard to believe, as one could assume by watching the throngs of people packed into shopping malls and purchasing stuff they did not need, with money that they did not have, it would seem to be a quite rosy picture. If one chooses to watch the slanted views of the news like CNN, one might assume that all is getting better, but that is far from the truth as well. Digging in deep for the coming economic collapse is the smart thing to do, even for franchise owners.
Researching current trends in franchising would show that traditional franchises like Subway and McDonalds is beginning to flatten out. After all, there is just so much room on the block for another processed hamburger joint, right? Besides those high ticket franchising gigs are extremely expensive to buy, and the fact of the matter is that the franchise business owner will work long and arduous hours to bring the business model into profit for long term.
Its times like these that people begin to burrow in for the catastrophe, or at least they should be. They should be finding alternative ways to franchise that is showing rapid growth, and protect their in house assets like food, by knowing that it will get worse, before it gets better. I go back in time when George Carlin did a presentation about people and their stuff. The fact is that people buy stuff. What people buy on payday is a clear indication that the rich get richer, they buy assets, and the poor get poorer, they buy stuff. Look at any Wal Mart on any given day, and that will be quite obvious.
It is rich to watch the different people as they approach the field of business building. Many will dig deep and find in their marketing, that research is the key to success. Others will simply go the same way as always, and try to pitch their newest and latest widget business. There is no difference at all in the franchise game. Often times, the sickening rhetoric that we all see in regards to MLM or network marketing, will certainly apply to the franchise business advertising as well. It is shocking to see the same old get rich quick with the newest and greatest widget franchise, and here will come the mass of people falling for the pitches like lambs to the slaughter. Cynical am I? Hardly. Realistic am I? Indeed! Unfranchises are the way to find the best deals for the best prices in terms of franchising. The outlay of money spent will be smaller, and the potentials are actually better than the major players in franchising game.
The game is surviving and prospering in 2012. After all, there were many millionaires made during the great depression. Will you be prepared to survive, or will you follow that soccer MOM to the mall for more goodies that they cannot afford?

Having discussed with others concerning the franchise business model, it would seem that many approach the buying or finding of a franchise by reading information that is written more like an MLM pitch, than professionally looking at marketing research data, and establishing a professional approach to the matter at hand. Be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. That is the slogan most used for franchising. And its true. Franchising gives you the opportunity to be your own boss and have your own business without needing to come up with the idea, the systems or the strategy. We are seeing more and more women enter the world of franchising, but I think its especially appealing for a mom entrepreneur. With so many families needing two incomes, franchising gives moms the opportunity to make money and still have the flexibility to be with their family. Certainly, the amount of work and flexibility depend on the franchise you purchase.
Franchising is simply a method of distributing a product or service. It is a great way for the franchisor to expand his or her business, and for the franchisee to take advantage of a proven business model. Most people think of expensive brick-and-mortar businesses like Basking-Robbins and McDonalds when they think of franchises. But there are lots of low-cost and home-based franchise opportunities. Work from home does not mean youre not working. Just as any mom knows that motherhood is full-time work, any franchise will be work, too. As with most things, you will get out of it what you put into it. Many will not require full-time traditional hours, but all take dedicated work time to grow and support the business.

I think mommy business owners are amazing role models for their kids. I have always said that our franchisees have my dream job -- a business that can be run in just a few hours a day and that puts motherhood first.

WordPress Is History!
I am through with the worst blogging system found on Google today called WordPress. Within this amazingly obscure and easy to hack system, one finds the most amazing amount of bad information, bad coding, bad template construction and the list goes on and on.
I have built numerous WordPress blogs over the years, but as of late, the system keeps having security updates, sometime on a daily basis, just to try to keep the scammers, spammers, and black hat guys at bay. Obviously they are not doing a very good job of it.
On this positive note, it should be noted that the site: Butch Hamilton, is now hosted on the Veretekk system Platinum Control Panel blogger drone series. On can clearly see the benefits of doing this, and the question comes to my mind. Why is everyone marketing goods and services on Google today, NOT buying a Veretekk Gold System?
I am more than convinced that WordPress, and the associated plugins offered are run by black hat SEO people. I am certainly glad to be in the process of leaving that system far behind.

Country Boys Can Survive!
If you think that business, real business is about guys dressed in three piece suits, driving Rolls Royce automobiles to their high corporate jobs, then think again. Real business is run by solid, well grounded red-necked conservatives, like me. I am not about the hype of the Internet, and as a matter of fact, find most of the Information on Google total BS. Perhpas the following will explain more about me, and my business.
I was listening to Hank Williams song: Country Boy Can Survive, and I thought this would be an excellent way to convey not only my thinking about life in general, but also how it applies precisely to surviving using network marketing as a business model.
I live back in the woods, you see I can plow a field all day long Because you cant starve us out We came from the West Virginia coalmines I had a good friend in New York City But he was killed by a man with a switchblade knife Cause you cant starve us out and you cant make us run Were from North California and south Alabam The fact is, I am a country boy, born and raised in the country. I am a natural born survivor of things that would make modern man shake and shimmer all over. I have been down the rocky and hard road in my life, and yet, I have been able to build a powerful network marketing business by following a few simple rules and guidelines.
I believe that the Cowboy Code of Ethics fits perfectly here:
A cowboy never takes unfair advantage - even of an enemy.

You see, we have been bombarded by so many lies, hype and scam on the Internet, that most people shy away from even thinking about building a network marketing business. For me, its a natural process to implement proven methods of search engine optimization to put businesses where people will find it. That is my stock and trade in building businesses. I can feel very good at the end of the day for my upbringing to always tell the truth, and never exaggerate anything about my business. Like the Hamilton Family Legacy site, this will be my life on the Internet for others to read, evaluate and even fill out the form to know more about what I have found to be the most stable business model found on Google today.
Telling people the truth about business, and seeing that they have all the necessary information they need to make a logical choice about becoming a part of it, is my purpose on this site. One will never find a product being promoted, a claim of money making ability, or any of the usual stuff that we see on the Internet. I am not looking for everyone, only for people who can identify with my common goals of operating a business the right way, working hard, and earning a living. The Internet, in today's current economy, is the last bastion of freedom that we all have. It is the last virgin country where we can live and work, without time and corporate restrictions, and where we can all live truly free and independent of the conventional ways of life that used to be the standards for the world.
The Internet is the place where a person still can control their destiny. They can live and work with certain freedoms that are not found in the real time jobs of the world. No wonder that literally millions of new people come to the Internet on a daily basis. And yet, how many of those will become successful with their new found dreams? The Internet is also full of the the lies, the scams, the hype and the misrepresentations that lead people astray to finding their true calling. It is a fact that most information found on Google that talks about starting a successful business model, like a franchise, is full of the non-sensical hype that we all have been subjected to over the years. Having said that, there are real jobs that can be found, and build by using services like search engine optimization techniques and strategies that do work today, and will work far into the future.

Cultural Apathy
I am seeing a new trend in the USA, and that is one of total and undeniable cultural apathy. No matter where one goes, or to whom one speaks, there seems to be a cloud of apathy that hangs thick over the culture today. As a people, we have been systematically striped of the good old American Dream, the dream that made this country what it is today, and made us an apathetic, entitlement rich culture where most are content to stand by and just watch, hope and pray that things will get better. Daily, we do not make much effort towards building a sound financial future, rather a good part of the people are looking to the Government, as a solution to the problems that we face economically today.
This is very apparent in the national airports where once, the makes dominated the baggage handling jobs, and now, young females have taken over many positions. The young modern male is not going to work unless they can start out right out of the gate making over $100K per year. Young women seem to be making the move to take the jobs, earn the living and basically have set themselves as the new leaders in the world. This is a good indicator of our modern culture. We are not going to move and shake, rather we are content to sit and idly think that things will get better. We are not willing to stand up and take charge any longer.

Some time ago, I purchased the domain name EMMALOTT.COM. I planned on using this domain name for professional profile branding purposes; however, I was not sure at what point I would fully implement the process of promoting that name. Since then, I have a clear focus and intent on how the domain will be used, and I thought it might make interesting reading to show and document the actual processes that I implement in creating a profile on Google for promoting purposes. The article will be an ongoing process as I go through all the steps that I use in the process called search engine optimization for a site. The process will be detailed; however, it will show actual processes used, and the results achieved by successfully promoting any domain to a particular keyword position on the Internet.
I always visualize where I wish the domain name to go on the search engines. For myself, this visualization, and actually seeing where the information will be placed, is always the first step in successful promoting. Search engine optimization is much more than most people tend to realize. It is highly important to setup in one's mind first, the intent and purpose of the site, before any work is actually accomplished. This step is often missed by most. There is much more involved in any SEO campaign that simply setting about the random drive by shooting that most try to accomplish. By known, seeing and visualizing my success, I have already put into motion the necessary elements to achieve desired results.
Step Two: Intent and Purpose
Once I have a clear focus of exactly where I want to go with a domain name, then the next step is to evaluate what I am I trying to accomplish with this site. Website tracking is key to the process as one wants to view actual visits to the site, and evaluate if the traffic is coming from search engines, blogs, forums etc. The only tracking tool that I have ever seen that is non-invasive to a site, and provides the necessary information I need is called Veretracking. What Is A Keyword?
An index term, subject term, subject heading, or descriptor, in information retrieval, is a term that captures the essence of the topic of a document. Index terms make up a controlled vocabulary for use in bibliographic records. They are an integral part of bibliographic control, which is the function by which libraries collect, organize and disseminate documents. They are used as keywords to retrieve documents in an information system, for instance, a catalog or a search engine. A popular form of keywords on the web are tags which are directly visible and can be assigned by non-experts also. Index terms can consist of a word, phrase, or alphanumerical term. They are created by analyzing the document either manually with subject indexing or automatically with automatic indexing or more sophisticated methods of keyword extraction. Index terms can either come from a controlled vocabulary or be freely assigned.
Keywords are stored in a search index. Common words like articles (a, an, the) and conjunctions (and, or, but) are not treated as keywords because it is inefficient to do so. Almost every English-language site on the Internet has the article "the", and so it makes no sense to search for it. The most popular search engine, Google removed stop words such as "the" and "a" from its indexes for several years, but then re-introduced them, making certain types of precise search possible again.

Since website design services is my business, I am always in the forward motion of designing, improvising, researching and developing sites to their maximum potential. This morning, I researched on Google, ButchHamilton.org. I found some interesting sites that speak about the website in detail, and I believe that this information could provide valuable information for my Google readers.
I do follow closely, ButchHamilton.org on Alexa.com. I find that pursuing this course of action is much more positive, and gives me an in depth look into the activity, as well as the page views being seen, rather than depending solely on Google, Yahoo and the other search engines. i need clear date, and as a matter of fact, the only tracking system that I totally trust is called Veretracking from Veretekk. This is the only site tracking system, in my professional opinion, that gives an honest evaluation of both traffic, but also insights as to who is clicking and visiting the site on a regular basis.

I got some flack when I made this recording. That's OK. I have many reasons as to why I made this public. Mostly because I have been and continue to be blessed in this calling.

I am closely monitoring this site as it is clearly becoming one, in a series, of my power centers on Google. I know that people are searching for good information, ideas, perspectives and overviews on the topic of search engine optimization and Veretekk as well. Websites should only contain good information, and this site obviously provides that, and much more.
Having been associated with web conferencing for many years, it is also apparent that people need find the type of information they are seeking, in a well balanced and organized manner. According to the Alexa.com ranking for ButchHamiltonsConferenceRoom.com, the site is now listed in the top 550,000 of sites listed on the Internet today. One may think this is not substantial; however, when first starting working on the site just a few short weeks ago, the site and domain name had no rank at all! This is an indicator to me that the site will become inheritantly more substantial with time, and I will be fully dedicated to seeing that it is constantly updated on a regular basis.
As always, any website on the Internet must be a work in progress. The testing and re-testing is all part of the process known as search engine optimization. Consider for just a moment. If you, the reader finding this article on the Internet, were to read that title, what would you do? Would you click off, or would you be intrigued and curious enough to follow along while I tell an important story about search engine optimization. The term, scares and intimates most people, and it really should not. Never think for a moment that a true SEO master is someone who holds a degree in business form Harvard. More than likely, those types of people are going to hold bureaucratic jobs, and be paid a salary, just like everyone else. Never think for one moment that a search engine optimization company can make you money. It cannot, nor will not. That is not their job. Their job is to provide you with exposure on the major search engines like Google. That is their whole goal. You will not make sales from their efforts; however, if you do this right, you can, in fact, compete with the major money players on the Internet, and capture your piece of the world wide web.
More than likely, you have no idea of how to market your business on the Internet. I can honestly and openly say that, as I have been mentoring people in building businesses online for a very long time. Most simply miss the point, and either cannot, or WILL not follow my suggestions on the exact process that I use each and every day to build my search engine optimization business.
Notice in the last sentence, I said MY search engine optimization business. There is a key there that you will need to consider in the latter part of this article.
At this point in time, the Internet holds more promise, more future and a better way to earn a living than any other regular job you could name. Our economy is getting worse, but the fact of the matter is this. The people who choose to build an Internet business are in the best possible place to be.
Some of the features that appeal, or should appeal to people seeking to build a stable business model on Google are:
1. You do not need a degree to build a business
2. You do not have to be super intelligent
3. You do not have to spend a lot of money
4. You do not have to work hard
5. You must NOT think that you know how to do this thing called Internet marketing even if you have built offline businesses before. Its a whole different ball game.
Those five elements are something that you should consider, and please, answer the questions honestly. I know the usual BS that life tries to force down our throats is that we need an education. Well, in the Internet marketing world, that is correct to a degree. If you do not know how to market, then you surely are going to have to find a system that you can trust that can show you the way. Notice I said, that you can TRUST. Be aware that the Internet is full of liars. Most things that you see, hear and read on the net come from some man or woman trying to convince, coerce or sell you on their special product or service that will make you rich with no effort. Does not happen, nor has it ever happened that way. For this reason, the IBUZZPRO.com users just hate me for what I say about them. If you think getting an automated phone dialing system, and just dictating away your nonsense to people who do not want to get your callers, then I have a site expressly for you: You Cant Fix Stupid! I read an interesting statement just the other day, and it went something like this: "No matter how much time, energy, effort of money you lay down to promote a business on Google, be aware that there are people and companies that are spending one hundred, one thousand and often one million more times money than you could ever imagine!" This makes perfect sense folks, but I am going to share a work around to the problem right now.
You never market a BUSINESS on the Internet! That is correct, and you heard this from a guy who has been doing this business for many years. That super widget or juice company that you are trying desperately to promote will never earn you money. There, I just put the first true words ever in the history of advertising that tells the true story. This needs clarification; however, so pay close attention below.
You should only market YOURSELF on Google. That is correct. People do not join businesses, they join you. People do not buy products from affiliate sites, they buy products because they know YOU. In other words, if you develop the thinking that marketing online means that you are going to have to put your name right out there for everyone to see, then you will be heading in the right direction for the first time in your life!
You develop your own domain name, with your name. Watch people begin to gravitate towards you. Butch Hamilton is getting to be a very well known name. I even have searches per month on the Google Keyword Tool for that name! All the domain names that I buy have Butch Hamilton in there somewhere. It is the key to success, and another interesting point to make is the fact that most will entirely miss the point, or even read this article. After all, reading takes time, and their special needs just cannot be taken up with something like reading!

Veretekk the Essence of Search Engine Optimization
Your Veretekk system is naturally inclined to help you with search engine results. At the very inception of Veretekk there were 20 separate but united domains for your Traffic Portals. (i.e.: Blastomatic.com, 1-family.com, free mart.net, free page.net, et racking.net, webcatch.com, freeffas.net, ffafarm.com, leadsomatic.com, etc.).
These Traffic Portals were designed to get you unique signups (leads) but these domains also have another very valuable benefit. They become a key part of your SEO campaign and are powerful in their content, title tags and especially in their backlinks.
We use your username as the subdomain of these traffic portal domains. Every domain name is composed of two parts: a TLD (top-level domain) and a second-level domain. In the domain name amazon.com, the .com part is the top-level domain, and the word amazon is the second-level domain. While there are an almost infinite number of second-level domains, there are a limited number of generic TLDs
The second-level domain is what most people think of as their company's domain name as in the Veretekk in Veretekk.com, and the Google in Google.com. The second-level domain is how your company will be known and remembered. Think of it as a vital extension of your brand. You are free to create any second-level domain name that you want, as long as no one else is already using it
The subdomain is the word that replaces the www in a web address URL. Your username becomes the subdomain in all the Veretekk traffic portals. IE: username.Veretekk.com, username.Blastomatic.com, username.veremail.com, etc. You get 40 and more coming of these unique domains and services all working just for you. These domains are all unique and Google likes them very much.
Understanding this, now consider what a keyword is. Do you know what one is? Have you ever searched for something on Google, like 'automated marketing systems'? Doing the search you will see over 2 million results and you will even see Veretekk on the first page. But what you will also notice is those keywords showing up in the domain and subdomain names as well as other important factors like the sub-directories, title tags, meta tags and content.
What you won't see is all the support content on other sites not listed that have key worded backlinks pointing to the primary sites. A back link is an obscure websites that have links that are pointing to the sites that appeared from your search. Those links are named with the same keywords you used. It all sounds so complicated, but really it is rather easy and logical.

I have been on the Internet since before the web. I was there when Mosaic was the browser and HTML was version 1.0. My first encounter with Network Marketing was an Internet service called PowerNet back in 1992. I was a complete novice in regard to Network Marketing. However, I saw the opportunity for a flat rate Internet Service and quickly joined.
Back in those days there was no such thing as flat rate Internet access. AOL charged $2.50 per hour for access via a 12,000 bps modem. PowerNet offered flat rate Internet access for $19.95 per month with 33,000 bps speeds.
Drawing upon my experience in Direct Marketing and advertising, I built a huge organization within months. I supported everyone in the company regardless of where in the downline they were with many not even in my genealogy. I built a site that incorporated a web-based forum to do so.
I built a self-replicating web page that had an online application for joining PowerNet and hooked that application into the PowerNet Access Database. My fax machine hummed day and night, printing thousands of signed applications from the signups. I did this to make sure I controlled the genealogies correctly and I was swamped.
PowerNet was deluged with unexpected growth, plagued with partners that argued and were greedy, and consequently they flamed out after 3 months of the growth I created. They went out of business and left everyone lost with no access to their eMail, contacts, customers and genealogy. It was a tragedy that hurt 1000s of people. My mission was born.
I was incensed by the greed that destroyed a company that had the opportunity to become a huge success. Everyone else saw the opportunity of the flat rate Internet access. I saw the community that it built via the Internet. To me, Internet access was a commodity, but a virtual community was a living, thriving entity with unlimited potential.

This was the beginning of Veretekk. We didn't call it Veretekk back then but that is what we call it now. The first thing we built was a customized self-replicated front page that was designed to promote what our members wanted to promote.
There were other issues as well at the same time -- Leads and eMail. Up until Veretekk was born, everyone bought leads. That was standard procedure. It was repulsive to me. Have you ever called someone that did not know you? It is insulting and the rejection is hard on the soul.
What really got me upset were the so called gurus, who would build downlines running expensive ads in USA Today, then resell leads to their downlines, telling them that was how you build a business. These guys would never call a lead. I even bought 100 of the leads they were selling and called all of them. The results were depressing at best. One of my articles was written from that research. Buying leads never works.
Then there was the eMail spamming going on everywhere. Even Corey Rudl of Internet Marketing Center fame and his millionaire status got his start from spamming. It was rampant back then with everyone doing it. Basically, unsolicited spamming, unsolicited faxes and unsolicited phone calls are all the result of selling your personal information to people willing to buy it. The gurus were making a killing selling this info and I knew this was wrong and unsustainable.
Last but not least, I also saw the trend that our economy and culture was heading for a cliff. I have been a subscriber to Gerald Celenti for many years. Having close relations with many in the Dotcom Biz, watching that bubble burst got my attention. It was around the same time that Clinton and Bush were Hell-bent on sending US manufacturing offshore to China and India, and Hell-bent for bigger government. I knew my time was limited. I have patiently built Veretekk according to these visions and my faith in Jesus Christ has guided me.
We put all this together as a system to support our subscriber's primary business. As a Social Network that would continue on after many of the MLM operations have come and gone, protecting our subscriber's hard work on the Internet and their large contact databases and spheres of influence.
Here we are with Veretekk, ready to support and teach the basic principles of rugged individualism, entrepreneurial self-motivation and the leadership qualities that are required to achieve independence and success.
